Richard Branson’s “Losing My Virginity” and Hot-Air Balloning
I recently read Richard Branson’s ‘Losing My Virginity’ in which Branson gives valuable insights into his business successes and failures, and his strengths and weaknesses. He also provides a thrilling account of his dare-devil activities as a hot-air balloon pilot. In the book, Branson describes hot-air ballooning as one of the most tranquil things you could ever do. As a result of reading this book, I was inspired to start a record company and an airline. Just kidding…. I went hot-air ballooning in the Champagne region of France in Autumn 2014. It was truly an amazing experience floating silently in a gentle breeze 3,000 feet above majestic countryside. I would highly recommend reading Losing My Virginity, and taking a surreal journey in a hot-air balloon.
